Turenscape (Kongjian Yu, Stanley Lung) Responding to the given subject of “Urban Agriculture and Water” for Turenscape (harmony between land and people), we have geared our research toward developing a “Seoul Productive Infrastructure for Urban Agriculture and Food Security.” Our team has gathered the raw GIS data and information of Seoul and been investigating the physical conditions, crops species and trend of agriculture of South Korea. Our current hypothesis is to reduce the discrepancy between import and export of food in order to make Seoul more resilient through intensive outdoor and indoor farming accompanying its continual urbanization. The final outcome is an indoor installation with video projection of our research findings and a showroom of how to implement some of these ideas and technologies.
